“Being nurtured in a girls' school since young, I have had the privilege to understand and believe in the power of girls. For instance, the common perception of boys performing better than girls in science subjects stems from unsound stereotypes.
However, with persistent effort in studying pastpapers and notes, I managed to prove the presumption wrong, capturing stars in both chemistry and physics.
Throughout the journey of preparing for the DSE, there were a number of obstacles - times when I got challenged by people surrounding me, being questioned of my competence. Nevertheless, I eventually achieved 10 stars in total in the DSE with diligence as well as confidence. Believe in your capability, we shine, as girls.
-Natalie Chung (DSE 2015)”
#girlsrule
